"This product impressed all of our testers. When mixed as directed, 5 parts water to 1 part concentrate, it worked well. The label recommeded boosting the mix . . . for toughter situations, and that produced a result that gave our horse peace for hours. In spite of the fact that it contains coat conditioners and sunscreen, it did not leave a sticky residue. The coat was soft and sleek. Smells good too."--Horse Journal, May 2005.
"We reach first for Aloe Espree Herbal for most uses around our barn and at competitions." --Horse Journal, June 2007
"Espree Fly Spray far surpasses any product I have tried to date! It actually provides my horses with ALL DAY relief! The added bonus is the coat conditioning and sunscreen the product provides. Your product is amazing."--Carol N.

| | Flys are a constant problem in our barn. We do not like to use pesticides or other harsh chemicals on our horses but finding natural repellents that actually work is difficult . . . until now. This stuff works, really works.
We use Espree Aloe Herbal Horse Spray on all our horses at the farm. We make it a daily ritual to walk through our nursery pasture brushing the coats of our mares and foals. Spraying the brush and keeping it moist while brushing not only removes loose hair but keeps the flys away for the rest of the day. Our foals quickly get used to being groomed and usually can't wait until its their turn. Since their racing jobs will eventually require hours of daily grooming, its important to get them to enjoy the procedure early in life. This is also a good time to get them trained to pick up their feet for hoof cleaning.
What is particularly interesting about Espree is the "wet-look" does not evaporate and go-away. It leaves an oil that continues to repel many hours after application. The natural conditioners left in their coats leave everyone soft and smooth. The sunblock component of the spray is also an important plus here in the California sun.
With costs always a concern in our stable, we calculated that the one gallon concentrate costs only about $3.35 per quart to make and the gallon size produces 20 quarts of spray--enough to last a year or more! Now that's a bargain!! A good strategy would be to buy a quart of ready-to-use then once you've tried it and liked it, save the empty bottle for dispensing and buy a gallon of concentrate.
