Hemo Cease Equine Bleeding/Lung Health Supplement - Peak Performance Hemo Cease is a highly concentrated, proprietary combination of nutrients essential for capillary and lung health. Hemo Cease contains high concentrations of Vitamin P in the combination of Mixed Bioflavonoids, as well as, additional Rutin, Hesperidin, and Quercetin. Quercetin may also effectively treat and prevent asthma symtoms. Vitamin P has been shown to strengthen capillaries that bleed easily under stress. Vitamin P works synergistically with Ester-C, a superior form of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), for increased absorption and capillary protection.
These ingredients in combination with lung strengthening herbs Mullien and Hawthorne Berry complete the most comprehensive and effective formula to reduce equine lung or nasal bleeding caused by intense exercise or competition.
As with any nutritional feed supplement, consistent feeding is needed to achieve the desired result. Hemo Cease can reduce bleeding in as little as three weeks. However, the results achieved by feeding Hemo Cease will improve over time.
- Lung and nasal bleeding
- Stable cough
- Chronic nasal discharge
- Mild to early heaves
- Wheezing and bronchospasm
What can Hemo Cease do for my horses?
Heavily worked horses, especially racehorses, have problems with lung and nasal bleeding. While many horses bleed to such a degree that drugs cannot completely stop it, there are natural ingredients that can help to naturally strengthen the fragile capillaries that can burst under such extreme pressure. Hemo Cease contains extremely concentrated amounts of these ingredients to provide a powerful formula for lung and capillary health. Stronger lungs capillaries may better resist the stress placed upon them that cause the lungs to bleed and the horse to suffer poor performance. Hemo Cease will not test.
Is Hemo Cease effective for allergies?
Yes. The Horse Journal tested for Hemo Cease and found that it also helps to control allergies by reducing stable cough, chronic nasal discharge, and mild early heaves symptoms. It will also help control wheezing and bronchospasm.
"Palatable, aromatic and obviously high quality herbs. Effective in eliminating or reducing stable cough, chronic nasal discharge, mild to early heaves symptoms."--Horse Journal, November 2001

| | We are conducting extensive racetrack testing of both Hemo Cease and HCX following considerable urging and promises from our friends at Peak Performance Nutrients.
We are enjoying great success in controlling bleeding in the lungs using HCX in combination with Hemo Cease. We use Hemo Cease as a long term supplement for building and strengthening capillaries. HCX is then used according to its instructions as a pre-event supplement.
Using these two products we have been successful in reducing our big horse, Real Temptation's lasix use by 40% with no signs of pulmonary bleeding. We will continue to cautiously reduce the Lasix dose. This horse was a terrible bleeder at one time but certainly not anymore. When bleeding freely, RT was a $20K claimer, now he is one of the best sprinters in California.
Lasix reduction or elimination benefits the horse because Lasix purges the body of vital fluids, saps a horse's stored vitamins and minerals, encourages heat exhaustion, and often promotes dull efforts. The results of our in-barn testing of Hemo Cease and HCX has so far been very promising. |
