Because it is not petroleum based, it does not leave a film on the horse’s coat, as do many current commercial products. The Tea Tree Oil is not only anti-microbial, but it has some fly repellant qualities, and due to the Peppermint Oil, the shampoo has a very pleasant odor. Healing Tree Private Reserve Tea Tree Shampoo is in a concentrated form, making it quite economical for the horse owner. Due to its unique formulation, dust and dirt are not as ‘attracted’ to the horse’s hair and skin, thus acting as a repellant for accumulation of dirt, etc..

    Ingredients
    Water, alkyl polyglycoside, cocamide DEA, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, tea tree oil, aloe vera, peppermint oil polysorbate 20, DMDM hydantoin, green FD & C dye.
    Directions of Use:
    May be used directly or diluted up to 20:1. Add desired amount of shampoo to a bucket of clean water and sponge on generously. Lather and wash thoroughly, rinse with clear, cool water. Repeat if necessary.
